Hi friends! I’m 23 weeks this week and can’t believe how fast this pregnancy is going. As my due date is getting closer, I thought I’d share what I’m using for baby 3! I get asked this frequently and I’m excited to share our favorites. Since we’re having our third boy, a lot of clothing and “equipment” items are being reused from his brothers. However, I have some tried and true products that I love and know you will too!
1. CeraVe Baby Wash & Shampoo + Baby Moisturizing Lotion
We’ve tried so many shampoos and lotions with our boys, but our #1 favorite is CeraVe’s baby line. My kids all have sensitive skin and CeraVe is gentle, helps with eczema, and smells amazing. CeraVe Baby Wash & Shampoo is a dermatologist-tested, fragrance-free and tear-free so I feel comfortable using on a newborn. CeraVe Baby Moisturizing Lotion is made with three essential ceramides and vitamin E. I normally apply after bath time to hydrate baby’s skin and it’s safe for everyday use!
2. Lamaze Baby Toys
I love having developmental toys for the boys. We love Lamaze toys for the contrasting patterns, crinkly fabrics, and engaging faces. Our favorite newborn toy is the Lamaze Puffaboo™ Elephant (3+ months). The ears crinkle and are perfect for tummy-time peek-a-boo! We also love the Soothing Heart Panda™ which mimics a heartbeat and has a soothing light to help baby fall asleep. This one is used when they are a little older at 9+ months. Lastly, the Wacky Giraffe™ makes lots of fun noises while baby is swinging it around. You can check out all of Lamaze’s developmental toys for babies here!
3. Philips Avent Bottles + Soothie Snuggle
I’ve used Philips Avent for all of my boys and will be doing the same for baby #3! Philips Avent Anti-colic bottles with AirFree vents are the best we’ve used! The AirFree vent is designed to reduce feeding issues, colic, gas and reflux in your baby. They are also really easy to take apart and clean! For pacifiers, we use the Philips Avent Soothie Snuggle. These not only come in cute designs, but are easy to find in the middle of the night! The Soothies are made of durable materials for baby and are also easy to clean. I have an entire post on how we taught Ashton to self-soothe with the Philips Avent Soothie Snuggle saved here!
4. Stonz Baby & Toddler Shoes
This is my first winter baby, so I knew I needed some cute baby boots! Stonz is an earth-friendly company and makes the perfect boots for babies and toddlers! The booties look so cozy for winter and I love that they come with adjustable toggles so they will stay put and keep baby warm. I also picked up the Stonz Cruiser to try. The Cruisers are lightweight, flexible, and great for early walkers. They have a wide opening and Velcro closer so they are great for any size baby foot!
5. T.N. Dickinsons Witch Hazel
Witch Hazel because the mom’s who know, know. All jokes aside, the T.N. Dickinsons Witch Hazel Pads with Aloe are a must-have for postpartum. They’re extra soft and quickly soothe any irritation. I’m also trying the T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel 100% Natural Astringent this time around. This effectively cleanses, soothes, and treats irritation, without drying out your skin. This one’s great for cleaning cuts and safe to use on kiddos.
6. Oilogic Baby Essentials
Oilogic Baby makes pediatrician & dermatologist tested baby wellness products that are vegan and safe for newborns. Oilogic Slumber & Sleep Essential Oil Linen Mist is a natural aromatherapy to calm and relax baby before bed. I use this if my little guys are extra fussy at night and it calms them right down. We also love the Oilogic Stuffy Nose & Cough Vapor Bath to help treat common colds. My two oldest are in daycare and constantly bring home germs so this one has been a lifesaver!
I hope this post was helpful for all my new moms or moms-to-be! I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of these in the comments!
