It’s been a while since I’ve shared some of Ashton’s favorite things. I love doing these posts because I think it’s so important to connect with other moms and share products and tips! I’ve gotten some of my best baby and toddler tips from other moms! Today, I am partnering with Babbleboxx to share some toddler favorites.
1. CoComelon Musical Yellow School Bus
One of Ashton’s favorite toys has been this CoComelon Musical Yellow School Bus from Jazwares. Ashton watches CoComelon frequently at Preschool, so this bus was naturally a big hit! It comes with a JJ character that he loves to pull in and out and ride in all the seats. If you press the front end of the bus, the toy plays “The Wheels on the Bus” song, as well as a few other cute phrases. Another thing we’ve been thinking about a lot lately, is making sure Ashton’s toys are also safe around his new baby brother. I love that the CoComelon toys could also be used by a younger child as well!
2. Else Nutrition Plant-Based Complete Nutrition for Toddlers
I’ve had trouble getting Ashton to drink milk the past few months, so I have been looking for alternatives to make sure he has all his nutrients. Else Nutrition is a plant-based complete nutrition for toddlers. We love that Else Nutrition is an organic, clean label, plant-based alternative to milk or formula. It’s a great source of protein, calcium, iron, fiber & healthy fats for your little one. Use code BabbleBoxx20 for discount if you want to give Else Nutrition!
3. Lil’ Sidekick Cup Strap
The Lil’ Sidekick Cup Strap has been a serious lifesaver. You attach the one end to your toddler’s cup and the other to your car seat, stroller, or highchair. Ashton is currently in a habit of tossing his cup once he’s done and the Lil’ Sidekick significantly helps with cleanup. It could also be used for a pacifier, toy, or other baby item. This easy to use, on the go, toddler staple is a great gift for new moms! Get 10% off with code YESPLEASE until 2/10 and stop the drop!
4. Squishmallows from Jazwares
We recently discovered Squishmallows by Jazwares. These soft, little, squishy animals are great for toddlers. Ashton loves to use his as a pillow and has been grabbing it before bedtime each night. Prince the Pug is his current favorite but they come in all kinds of cute animals for your little one.
5. Baby Magic Calming Baby Bath & Lotion
Baby Magic Calming Bath and Baby Lotion have become a part of our nightly bath routine. All Baby Magic products are hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested and free from sulfates, dyes, parabens and phthalates. Their Calming Bath and Lotion contains Lavender & Chamomile to create a relaxing atmosphere. The Calming Bath is a tear-free formula and the Calming Lotion locks in moisture for sensitive skin.
6. Reach Out & Read Program
Our bedtime stories have always been one of Ashton’s favorite things to do and has helped so much with his development. We recently discovered the Reach Out & Read program, which is a non-profit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. Pediatric teams provide new books and share literacy advice with children and parents at each well-child visit. The first 3 years of a child’s life is a critical time in their development and reading is such a great way to support your child!
