Hey lovely ladies! Who is getting excited for Valentine’s Day? I always look forward to celebrating the holiday, but it can come with some stress when you’re trying to find the perfect plans to surprise your other half. We’ve been having some unpredictable weather in Pittsburgh lately ( 8 inches of snow this week ) so we decided early on that we’d celebrate at home this year. I wasn’t exactly sure what to plan for our night in, so when I partnered up with Babbleboxx to share the perfect essentials for Valentine’s Day at home, it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time! Keep reading to check out some date night essentials for throwing the Ultimate Valentine’s Night in with your special someone.

Our first essential for spending a romantic Valentine’s at home is with a delicious surprise from Edible Arrangements. We received this Valentine’s Day Gift Set which included chocolate covered strawberries, heart-shaped pineapple slices, grapes, Belgian chocolate pops, and some festive balloons! You guys, I love chocolate covered strawberries and was so excited when this bouquet arrived. The presentation was beautiful and even came in a cute vase that I can reuse year after year. Wouldn’t this make the perfect Valentine’s day gift for your significant other? Don’t tell Daniel, but I think I’m going to make this a yearly tradition. Each arrangement is made locally and they even offer same day delivery! Anyways, we snacked on these treats all day and it really made the day feel special! Check out the arrangements they offer here.

My next must-have Valentine’s item is a matching Bra & Panty Set by Maidenform. There is just something so romantic and feminine about lace negligee, don’t you think? I received a matching lace bra and boyshort in Coral Punch. The luxe bralette looks so cute under an off the shoulder sweater. The scalloped straps and plunging neckline add a fun and flirty touch to an everyday casual outfit. The bra is unlined so it was perfect to lounge around in front of our fireplace. The boyshorts are an adorable cheeky cut and look very flattering on. The hubs was a big fan too 😉 Shop the Bra here & Boyshort here.

So listen ladies, I am not a beer girl. I am definitely your wine or cocktail type of gal, but this Shandy is what dreams are made of.  Introducing my next vital Valentine’s Day item, Lucky Traveler Blackberry Shandy. I mean, what kind of holiday would this be without adult beverages? Lucky Traveler is an American craft wheat ale and the shandy is made with real blackberries. I was skeptical thinking it may be too sweet or too bitter, but it has a very light, smooth blackberry flavor.  There is also a long list of fun cocktails that can be made with Lucky Traveler, which was right up my alley. Dan stuck to the Blackberry Shandy on it’s own and I made myself a little Blackberry Punch, which consisted of blackberry brandy, orange liqueur, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, and angostura bitters served in a sugar rimmed martini glass. Hello, new favorite drink. We shared a six pack for Valentine’s that night and I made Dan run and stock up on more the next day. It’s pretty addicting and I want to have this on hand for our next get together! You can see if Traveler is available near you here.

What’s more romantic than sipping your cocktails and eating chocolate covered strawberries by candlelight? My next V-day necessity is Chesapeake Bay Candles. Our favorite was the love & passion ( so fitting, right? ) and was a great touch for our Valentine’s night at home. It has such a yummy citrus scent, mixed of grapefruit and mangoes. I’ve always loved candles by Chesapeake and was super excited to add this one to my collection. Find your Valentine’s Day Candle here.

Last, but certainly not least, and our final must-have item for the perfect Valentine’s Night In, Kettlecorn by Popcorn Indiana. You guys, what kind of Netflix and chill night would these be without popcorn?! I’m a big fan of Kettlecorn and love the salty sweet taste in every bite. At only 130 calories per bag and Gluten Free, this is a staple snack in our house. They come in lots of great flavors and think we will be trying the Black & White Drizzlecorn next. You can find their popcorn here.

Well ladies, I hope this post helped you come up with some of your own Valentine’s Night In ideas! I would honestly recommend all of these products and they helped make our day a lot more special!
