HOW I SURVIVED THE FIRST TRIMESTER

Happy Friday! As promised, I wanted to share my favorite products that helped me through the first trimester. Those first three months can definitely be rough getting used to all the body changes and hormones. Overall, I was pretty lucky but you can read about how I felt throughout my first trimester here.

There were a handful of products that really made the first trimester more “manageable” for me and I am sharing those below! What products helped you through the first trimester? I’d lvoe to hear of any others for next time around;)

1. Pregnancy Seabands

If you have any type of morning sickness these bands can definitely provide some relief. They target pressure points to relieve those nasty dizzy spells!

2. Flavored Rice Cakes

There was something about these rice cakes that I couldn’t get enough of. Weirdly enough, my best friend was also addicted to these when pregnant! But hey, there could be worse things!!

3. Ginger Candy

Ginger is a known method to help relieve morning sickness. These were great to throw in my purse when out and about.

4. High Waist Spanx Leggings

A game changer for first trimester aches and pains. These were my go-to pants when bumming around the house. I especially liked having the support of the high waist around my belly.

5. Supportive Sports Bra

This is the first time in my life with big boobs so adding a few new bras were at the top of my list. These ones are great for nursing as well and come with a pack of extenders.

6. Netflix

Netflix and chill for the days I didn’t want to leave the couch! Ray Donovan has been our newest show.

7. Proform Elliptical

I tried to work out 3-4 days per week during the first trimester. We have an elliptical in our basement and that was my workout of choice. Low impact cardio was perfect because it didn’t raise my heart rate too high, but was enough to get the blood flowing and make me feel better.

8. Hydro Flask Waterbottle

Hydration is always key but even more so during pregnancy. Having my Hydro Flask in tow definitely kept me on track and hydrated.

9. Pink Stork Morning Sickness Tea

My MIL purchased this tea for me as soon as we found out we were pregnant. It was a great new replacement for that cup of coffee I was used to!

10. Cucumber Eyemask

There is something about the smell of cucumber that is so refreshing to me. Using this Cucumber eyemask was a great way for me to relax in the evenings!
