Hi Ladies! Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner? We’re getting in FULL holiday mode over here but with so much to do, it can turn into a stressful time of year! As many of you know, I’m a planner at heart and this year I’ve partnered with Boscov’s to share some of my favorite holiday planning tips!
Start your Shopping Early
I’ve been the crazy one at the mall on Christmas Eve searching for that last minute gift – don’t do it. There are so many great sales going on now through December so try to get your shopping out of the way as soon as possible. I like to keep a running list of gift ideas in my phone so if I hear someone mention something, I can easily remember it later! If you dread heading to the mall, try starting with a department store where you can cross multiple people off your list at once.
Boscov’s is really a one-stop-shop when it comes to shopping for multiple family members. They have everything from clothing, home goods, beauty products, pet supplies, and holiday decor. I was able to find something for my parents, in-laws, husband, & fur baby all in one trip! If you prefer shopping online, you should take advantage of their Buy Online, Pick up In Store service. Simply place an order online, then you’ll receive an email once it arrives, and go pick up your gifts at the store. This service is especially nice if you’re unsure how something will look or feel in person.

Take Advantage of Free Gift Wrap
If wrapping isn’t your thing, I would definitely suggest taking advantage of free gift wrapping. It’s such a time saver! Not to mention how nice it is to leave the store and be able to put your gifts right under the tree when you get home. It also helps if you have little ones that like to peek! Boscov’s offers free gift wrapping at each courtesy desk and has a variety of cute wrapping paper and bows to choose from.
Deck the Halls
There’s nothing cozier than a home all decked out for Christmas, but it can be overwhelming without a game plan. I like to pick one theme to use in every room so I have a cohesive feel throughout my house. Neutrals & cool tones are my everyday décor, so it’s fun to add some pops of color but still keep a clean & cozy, modern vibe. I picked up a few new pieces from Boscov’s this year to freshen up our living and dining rooms. My favorite finds were fuzzy stockings, a flocked garland, indoor twinkle lights, a faux fur table runner, and the cutest little pine cone ornaments.

Make a Cookie List
My mom and I like to make a list of all the cookies we plan on baking for the holidays. It helps to plan out a well-rounded assortment and make sure we include a few of everyone’s favorites. I won’t lie, I’m not the best baker but for the past few years, we’ve dedicated a girl’s night to wine and cookie baking. And let me tell you, wine makes baking much more fun 🙂 Cookies also make a great little gift for neighbors or to take to a holiday party.

Plan your Holiday Outfits
And last, but definitely not least, let’s talk about celebrating. I always seem to have last minute holiday parties pop up throughout December so it helps to have a few outfits on hand. At least for me, picking out an outfit last minute is always a struggle, so having a few outfits ready to go when those holiday happy hours or neighborhood dinners pop up is ALWAYS a plus! I love this black velvet dress paired with the fun leopard scarf. This combo will definitely be on repeat throughout the holidays!
