FIVE HOLIDAY COCKTAILS

So in my last post I mentioned I’d be experimenting with some holiday cocktails for our Christmas party and let me tell you – we found some great ones. Also, I am extremely thankful I don’t have to work today. But seriously these are delish and I can’t wait to make these drinks this weekend, they will be sure to please our guests!

Christmas Sangria
Makes 10-12 servings
Ingredients: 
 2 bottles Pinot Grigio 
3/4 cup sparkling apple cider 
1/4 cup sugar 
1/4 cup cranberries, halved 
3/4 cup cranberries, whole 
1 Granny Smith apple, chopped 
3 rosemary sprigs

Cranberry & Cinnamon Whiskey Sour


Makes 4-6 servings

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cranberries 
2 cups water 
2 cups sugar 
2 cinnamon sticks 
3/4 cup bourbon or whiskey 
1/2 cup lemon juice 
1/4 cup orange juice 
1/4 cup lime juice 
Ice cubes & cocktail shaker for mixing

Cranberry Mule 
Makes 1 mule
Ingredients:
 Sugared Cranberries (for garnishing)
12 oz. fresh cranberries 
½ cup simple syrup 
½ cup granulated sugar 
Cranberry Mule 
2 oz. unsweetened cranberry juice 
3 oz. ginger beer 
1½ oz. spiced rum 
1 oz. simple syrup 
Ice, for serving

Sparkling Pomegranate Mimosas

Makes 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
½ cup pomegranate seeds
6-8 sprigs of rosemary
1 small bottle of pomegranate juice
1 bottle of champagne

Plum and Thyme Prosecco Smash


Makes 4-6 servings

Ingredients:
2 Plums
6 Thyme Sprigs
Juice from one Lemon
4 Tbsp. Thyme
Simple Syrup
 1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/2 Cup of Water
1 Bottle of Prosecco or your favorite bubbly
