Happy Wednesday! I literally can’t believe how soon Baby T will be here! Under 10 weeks to go! We’ve been slowly chipping away at our “MUST DO BEFORE BABY” list and figuring out which travel system we’d be using was right at the top. I had no idea how many options there were when we first started looking or which travel system would best fit our needs.
Luckily, my friends at Britax were kind enough to send us one of the BRITAX B-Free & Endeavours Travel Systems for review and I wanted to share my thoughts in case any of you moms or mamas-to-be are going through something similar!
So let’s start with the basics. What features does it have? What distinguishes it from other strollers? And the most important: Is it worth buying?
Here is the full product description from the company website. “The B-Free Travel System combines the safety of the Britax Endeavours Infant Car Seat with the flexibility of the B-Free stroller. They work together to help you navigate family life safely and smoothly. The stroller has seven pockets and an extra-large storage basket offers plenty of room for baby’s gear, and yours. The expandable canopy protects your baby from the sun, and 3-wheel configuration provides ultimate maneuverability. Also features an easy one-hand fold. The Endeavours Infant Car Seat has the next-level Britax safety technologies that protect your little one beyond standards, plus an easy and secure installation with or without the base.” Sounds good, right?
The travel system comes with an Endeavours Infant Car Seat (4-35 lbs), car seat base, and the B-Free Stroller (birth-65 lbs). I found it fairly easy to set up and break down by myself. For reference, the car seat weighs 11 lbs on its own and the stroller is 22 lbs.
Overall, here are my favorite things about the B-Free & Endeavours Travel System:
Compared to some other options we looked at, the B-Free has a CRAZY amount of storage. There are literally pockets, pouches, or mesh compartments everywhere you could imagine. If you are an over-packer (guilty as charged) this could be very useful in having all the space & organization options.
Before doing research, I had no idea that a lot of strollers don’t go past infant stage. The B-Free can easily be your only stroller and works from birth all the way to 65 lbs. The Endeavours Infant Car Seat quickly snaps in and out and comes with an adjustable 5-point harness to adapt as your little one grows.
One Hand Fold
The B-Free is meant to quickly pop up and down with it’s one hand quick fold ability. I’m sure all your mom’s can agree how extremely convenient this is when your juggling a baby, stroller, diaper bag, etc. These are things I didn’t even think about until doing some research!
Extendable Sun Canopy
The extra large canopy on the B-Free easily extends to protect your babe from the sun and can be used front or rear facing.
I hope you mamas found this review helpful! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions because I know choosing the right stroller can be a difficult task!
Thank you to Britax for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
